Green Beans and Bacon
A RECIPE FROM HOUSEWIFE ECLECTIC
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. fresh green beans
- 4-6 slices of bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped onion or green onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 2 Tablespoons butter
PREPARATION
- Blanch the green beans until they get that wonderful bright green color.
- Pull the green beans out and put them in a frying pan with the butter and the chopped bacon (uncooked).
- Stir around and add onion and garlic. Let it all saute in the pan until the bacon is crispy.
