PURCHASE THE BOOK
M y hands found this book at my local library by complete accident while I was looking for another book, but as a girl that knows the words to all of the songs from Wicked, I had to pick it up.

If you are looking for a literary masterpiece for your next read, look some place else. If you are looking for a piece that doesn't mention religion or faith, look some place else but if you are looking for a light hearted book, fun book about the actress who played the original Glinda on Broadway's Wicked then this is your book.

This book takes little Kristi Chenoweth from her pageant days all the way to Broadway and television. It details the rough road of her passage in show business. She is not the stereotypical dumb blond that dropped out of high school to pursue acting. This girl has a masters in opera.

This book is funny, heartbreaking and everything in between. Honestly? I really liked it but it is probably because I have a little bit of the childhood dream of dancing on Broadway left in me. This isn't the best written memoir I have ever read but it was optimistic and happy, something we can all use nowadays.
